Netherlands and new techniques

 I picked up a 4B pencil and have enjoyed using it to study values. The sun was crisp when I sketched this 1938 house by Baas in Rotterdam across the street from the Netherlands Architecture Institute.

This is a common sketch on our blog. There's no better way to kill a few minutes on the tarmac and 737s are just so "sketch-o-genic".
