Olympia's Yashiro Friendship Bridge bombed with yarn cozies

Last Friday, in honor of Olympia's Arts Walk XLVII, the main bridge linking downtown Olympia to west Olympia was dressed up in winter finery. A local group that calls themselves the Spectral Spiral organized this community project with over 30 people contributing to the lamppost fashion show. Some contributed parts others whole lamppost covers, others put pieces together. Talking to the project organizers, it sounds like everyone, including the many arts walk attendees, is delighted with the outcome.
