Gallery Receptions

On 1 October, Urban Sketchers opened a group show at two locations in Edmonds: Gallery North and Cafe Louvre.  Today we held an artists' reception at both locations.

We assembled plenty of delicious food for the Gallery North reception.

Gabi Campanario was there with his daughter. He is, of course, our Founder.

Outside Cafe Louvre Teresa Lawton, Beth Betker and David  Chamness keep
"Sister Mona Lisa" company and sketch the surroundings.

Jackie Helfgott sketches outside Gallery North in Edmonds, demonstrating to
our Gallery visitors what we do

Peggy and Jane both had painting sell at Gallery North in the first few minutes of the reception!

  3. Wonderful post, Kate, and awesome work behind the scenes to all who help plan and coordinate these two exhibits!!

It is so inspiring to see each of our pocket sketches framed and exhibited and the focus of conversations about urban sketching!

  7. Beautiful post! Really you all had a great time there. it reminds of a party at one of NYC venues. Had everyone there and all enjoyed a lot in company of each other. Will love to attend such get-togethers in future too.
