EMP Lobby
Here's another view of the EMP Lobby. I mentioned to a couple of people—half kiddingly, half seriously—that I thought the space was easier to draw since there were not many straight lines and the pesky subject of perspective wasn't an issue. I started with the vertical column and then worked my way through the curved surfaces and lines, one by one. The hard part was trying to maintain a sense of space and not let the steel and plywood sheathing from dominating.

Great point of view! Great sketch!
ReplyDeleteFrank,
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when I was looking to the ceiling. Almost of stream -of-consciousness drawing!
I love it!
ReplyDeleteA lovely puzzle that keeps the eye entertained, Frank!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you see structure.
