At the Beach
I don't often draw people, especially people who will want to see the finished drawing, because my quick and dirty method- no pencil, no planning, no measuring; just attack the page with a pen-- leads to some crazy distortions. My poor subjects always end up looking less attractive than they really are. But I'd finished the lighthouse and didn't want to stop drawing, so...

You can always revert to Picasso's comment when someone said Mogidliani's paintings didn't look like women. "Madam, they aren't women. They're paintings!"
