Jury Duty
This past week and maybe some of this coming week I have been serving on jury duty with King County Courts. One of the benefits has been to spend time on my long lunch breaks sketching in a different part of the city from where my office is located. The weather has been pretty bad, but I have found places to look out over the cityscape and stay fairly dry.
I thought about pulling out the sketchbook in the courtroom, but then decided that might not be appropriate. The next best thing was sketching the exterior of the King County Courthouse as it sits next to the Smith Tower. Hope to have time for more later this week if I am still serving.
