I did the first two quick sketches in the hour before the doors opened for our meet up at MOHAI. I soon realized that it was much colder than I thought and so I had to hurry. The second sketch from inside the museum is of the biplane that hangs in the main gallery space. I saw that it was a popular subject yesterday!
Drawing the Virginia was a nice break from the sensory overload that was the inside of the MOHAI. Love seeing another take on it. Very pristine drawings.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cole! I am always amazed by your sketches and how you edit out the superfluous "non bone" details. (I also always pack your advice in my field sketch supplies..."I would move to find a better perspective")
