Wow, Steve, I saw myself in your sketch - I was drawing right next to you!! I didn't realize we had seen each other at Edmonds Urban sketchers' meet as well. And stranger still, just that very day on Thursday William (he was drawing in the same room at Gage too, but he's not there in your sketch) mentioned to me that he had seen a really nice drawing of an Italian restaurant on Seattle Urban Sketchers' site - which turned out to be yours, as I found out just now, scrolling down to see more of your work! :) Your drawings are great by the way. Lots to be learned!
Thanks, Katya. I was worried that you would be distracted by my staring as I drew you. You were a good model. I couldn't see what you were drawing, though. A lot of people showed up! Are you the person who sets up the session? You might need to ask for a bigger room! (The crowding doesn't matter to me, since I sit in the corner and draw everything anyway, but some people looked a little cramped.) It was fun and I like that everyone was quiet and focused on their work. I plan to come back often. People are my weakest subject so I need the practice. See you there!
