Sketchcrawl and "The Art of Urban Sketching"

What an amazing event last Sunday at the library.  We had probably about 25-30 people show up for the sketch crawl at the library before Gabi's lecture.  The librarian thoughtfully allowed us to go in to the library and sketch in the main "living room"  instead of having to sketch outdoors until the official open.
That was great! We had the library all to ourselves.  A lot of new people showed up and some Whidbey Island sketchers came, it was great seeing them.
Gabi's talk was great! The auditorium was full.  I think in the end it was standing room only.  Great testament to the interest in his work and column.  Hopefully this will put the bug in people to go out and find the "sketcher" in them.
