A couple of weeks ago the weekly theme for urbansketchers flickr group was to sketch a garden. Since ours is in really bad shape, I went to the Japanese Tea Garden instead to try another attempt at drawing landscape. This came out better than my first attempt. Also looking at the work of urbansketchers on the international blog helped me see how much value some people use to create depth and differentiation. This was also my second attempt at sketching on a larger format. This was 10 x 15 approximately.
Gail,
ReplyDeleteThis is marvelous! I like the way you are using your watercolors in your recent posting. Bold, colorful, yet with control. Thanks for showing this.

I also love your colors Gail. I am fascinated with the water and how it shows depth. Really beautiful.
