Lived in the Seattle area all my life and had never been to Gas Works Park. What a fantastic place to draw! Had a great time joining the group and seeing the work created this morning. A learning experience.
Both look like pages from a book - like part of an illustrated narrative. Nice work. They remind me a bit of the Maira Kalman blog on the NY Times site. I really like the idea of the sketches as equal to or supportive of a narrative.
