Sketches at the zoo II

This is my sketch of a male, lion-tailed macaque, at the Woodland Park Zoo, during Sketchcrawl 23. Teresa suggested I show him his portrait, so I held my sketchbook up just for fun. Neither of us expected anything to happen. As I reached up, all of a sudden the macaque stretched its neck out toward my sketch book. Now I know for sure what the words "taken aback" mean! Frances
i think that's what monkeys who appreciate art do ;) i love the drawing, it's like a book illustration!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gabi. I'll test that theory next time I draw a monkey...and see if it happens twice. Looking forward to Fishermans Terminal on Sunday.
