I ended up using a 2B pencil (top), a micron 02 (middle), and a Graphic 1 Micron for the last sketch done during lunch at the Lockspot café.

These are great! And it looks like you all had fun even though it rained. The sketches really captured the feeling of the locks. I love that you just gave color to the water which is what ties it all together. (Finally figured out how to post a comment by the way!)
