Recoleta Cemetery

While you all were at SAM, I was hanging out with dead people in Buenos Aires, and taking a few rubbings off some old mausoleums. Evita is buried here, and draws a crowd, but the place is almost 200 years old, so lots of interesting sights - including these very peculiar trees.

How I spent my Halloween

Thought I'd better post something before you all forgot me. Here is my sketch of one of the lovely greenhouses in the Botanical Gardens in Buenos Aires. They have a distinctly Victorian flair from the time of British influence. The varied architecture is one of the  interesting features of Buenos Aires.

Sketching in Buenos Aires - no dim sum.

Hi! I've been trying to post for days but google has been letting me down. It looks like you had a wonderful Sketchcrawl day and I love seeing the results. I spent the day at a market also and am posting one from there and another view near Plaza de Mayo of Evita fame. My best to all, Peggy
