Georgetown Overpass
Along with other Urban Sketchers, I wandered through the streets of Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood this weekend during their annual Garden Tour. I love gardens - I am a gardener. And yet, they rarely make it into my sketchbooks. I like big shapes, odd angles and strong shadows. So, when I walked under the I-5 overpass on Corson Ave, I abandoned the search for a garden for a view that had everything I like.
