Another Hidden Treasure in Seattle

Even though it was a rather strenuous bike ride from NE 54th St. to Fremont, then UP to the top of Queen Anne, it was so worth it!!  The Parson's Gardens Park (part of the Seattle Parks' system) may be small, but oh so intimate, with some nicely shaded places to sit and simply contemplate...or sketch!  I decided to take my time and focus on pen and ink drawing.  Once home, I added watercolor.  the strength and character of that tree stands on its own.
