Bainbridge Island Outing

We had a good group of people who showed up for our excursion to Bainbridge Island on Sunday.  Good sketching, eating, great company of people and a few even got to do a little wine tasting before running to catch the next ferry to Seattle.  Here are my sketches for the day.

  1. Great line work that is complimented so well with your color choices (warm and inviting), what a great series. Wine? Sounds like this was a good sketching destination.

  3. i really enjoyed the outing! your third sketch is really growing on me... it has a great atmosphere despite not having color, i like the water and the sense of distance from the shore. i hope to scan mine soon!

  4. Thanks for the comments, I added more value to the ferry sketch after taking to heart the conversation with Frank and Gabi about focusing on value and not color. This was a good opportunity to do it.
