MOHAI & Lake Union

After a short touring inside the Museum, I decided to first sketch this Boeing B-1 which was hanging the Grand Atrium. According to info this was the first commercially produced plane. It's first flight was from off of Lake Union in 1919. Only took 58 minutes to make 84 mile to Victoria,BC that would take steam ship 20 hours to travel. Underneath is a truck used in old days to deliver lumbers.  Innovations changes our life!

I was attempting sketch by the lake, but it's still quite chilly and so went up stair by the window, looking down those beautiful boats with landscape in distance.
I was little too engaged into sketching details which interested me at first glance and, therefore missed our sketchers' group sharing, hope you enjoy here!
