Wooden Boats
Ever notice how older modes of transportation seem to be so much more visually appealing than the newer designs which replaced them? Seems to be the case whether one is considering cars, trains, airplanes, or in this case, boats. Or am I just getting old? Yes yes I know: less safe, less efficient, slower, hard to maintain. Guess what: I don't care. Such beautiful forms and all that varnished wood! Mmmm.
