Sunny day in Fremont

Great weather we've been having lately. Spring's coming very early this year and it was nice to sneak away from the yard work for a little sketching. I think when I got back the grass had grown another inch.

In my excitement at (finally) not having to hold an umbrella whilst drawing, I think I might have gotten a bit overambitious. Truss bridges don't lend themselves to quick sketches.

Everybody's favorite Bolshevik. I hear that Lenin invented the phrase, "Let's do lunch." I love what one can learn on the internet.

At least the weather was nice for these intrepid souls. Some day Seattle will have a transit system, they will reach their destinations, and we'll need another sculpture. But I'm not holding my breath...
See you next month!
