Portland differs from Seattle in that we have our cars while they have a functioning, intelligently designed, and very draw-genic transit system:
We wanted to ride the tramway up the hill but it turns out they are closed on Sunday. I took the opportunity to draw one of the towers:
Between the many hours (and too much money) spent at Powell's Books and the eating and drinking that's all the sketching I was able to sneak in. There are still a lot more things to draw down there so I think I'll have to keep going back. Hope to see everybody at the Center on Sunday.
