Old Gas Station on 34th in Madrona
Someone from the Urban Sketchers blogsite suggested drawing gas stations this week.
I thought that was a good idea. I always like old gas stations that are no longer gas stations but converted to something else. This one is in Madrona and has been an art studio. My son did a furniture class there through Coyote Arts. Anyway it will probably be demolished there is a land use sign on the property. I thought I would capture it before it is no longer there.

breezy lines, marvellous light and shadow channel their ghosts! lovely sketch!
ReplyDeleteGail, great sketch! Demolition seems to be a common theme for a lot of older structures that are appealing to draw.
