It was that beautiful Sunday and Sketch Out/Loud was on my mind. So I while I was in Tacoma Wright park seemed like a fitting spot. The park, covering 27 acres was, designed by Bavarianlandscape architect Edward Otto Schwagerl, back in the late 1800's.
The jewel-like W. W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory presides over the park. It's not-quite-round dome is built with 3500 panes of glass. The copper cupola tops it off like a crown.
I love this! Totally captures the feel of the park!
ReplyDeleteLove this composition, Jane! The variation in your line and the distribution of watercolor washes and brushstrokes is fantastic!
